Books

Are you interested in reading more? We are! Inspired by our own experience with Read a Book a Week month, and a recent conversation with a friend who is seeing how many books he can read in 2015, we decided to make reading as much as possible an annual goal (in addition to our monthly challenges).

Will it be 15? 27?  31?  52?

Here's what we are reading, and have read this year...

AMY:
Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey

MELISSA:
Mrs. Hemingway by Naomi Wood (1/4/15)
The Bhagavad Gita translated by Gavin Flood & Charles Martin (1/6/15)
We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler (1/20/15)
What We Talk About When We Talk About Love by Raymond Carver  (1/24/15)
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath (Stopped on page 141...anxiety producing)
The Giver by Lois Lowry (2/10/15)
The Paying Guests by Sarah Waters (2/26/15)
Of Love and Other Demons by Gabriel García Márquez (3/7/15)
Fear of Flying by Erica Jong (4/1/15)
